The Federal high court proceeding in Abuja has stamped
an order that the ex- NNPC boss Andrew Yakubu to remain in Kuje prison till the
pending determination of his bail application is accepted on March 21.
Yakubu was arraigned on Thursday by the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on a
six-count charge of fraud before Justice Ahmed Mohammed after he was admitted
of owning over $9.8 million cash found in a house that also belongs to him in
Kaduna State.
He would be in prison till
next Tuesday when the case resumes.
